Introducing the B58 Aluminum Coolant Pipe Upgrade, part# 11118619408 for BMW 40i vehicles with the Gen1 B58 engine. It will include the O-Ring just like the OEM piece which will make it fully plug and play. Since this part is made of cast aluminum vs plastic (like the OEM pipe), it should outlast the car and never need to be replaced again.
 
As mentioned above, this product is cast from aluminum, ensuring extremely long-term reliability. Ensure to clean the engine block mating surface to prevent any leaks. Lubricate the o-ring for the upper radiator hose before install to ensure smooth fitment.
 
It is also recommended to replace 17128616548. The plastic for the connectors could be degraded just like this part.
