The older the B58 gets, the more problems are discovered and unfortunately, one of those issues like most other cars, is PCV related.
 
The fortunate thing for the Gen1 B58 owners is that PCV failure is usually related to a ripped rubber diaphragm which is a very simple fix! The issue we run into is that the plastic cap that covers the rubber diaphragm is very brittle and so it is easily cracked/damaged during the process of replacing the rubber diaphragm.
 
I came up with a very cost-effective solution and that was to design a billet aluminum cap using CAD! In my short time using CAD programs I feel that my design is as comparable to the OEM cap design as possible and because it is made of billet aluminum instead of plastic, it is a lot more durable! I will also have a combo option which will include the rubber diaphragm.

Are any modifications required?
Nope! My cap is 100% Plug n' Play. It is an OEM+ replacement part.
 
What tools are required to install this kit?
A plastic pry tool (not included) to remove the OEM Plastic PCV Cap & an M3 (1.5mm) allen key (optional) for the set screws are highly recommended.
 
Will my engine cover still fit?
Yes, this cap replacement will not sit any higher than OEM.
 
What cars are compatible with the Ross Racing Billet PCV Cap?
The only cars compatible with the Ross R. Billet PCV Cap are first gen (Gen1) B58 vehicles. This will include all B58 F-Chassis BMWs between the model years of 2016-2020 as well as a few G-Chassis BMWs of similar model years.
B58 TU (Gen2) cars are NOT compatible! While the other guys may say their kit is compatible, don't be fooled. The TU engines have a redesigned valve cover which now incorporates a built in PCV system. These cars include most G-Chassis BMWs after 2019/2020 as well as the MK5 Toyota Supra.
